Things India has taught me:
1. Love doesn't have to come in limited quantities. It is okay to love excessively, shamelessly and without 'reason'.
2. PEOPLE are the most important part of life.
3. You will never be exactly the way someone wants you to be, you can only hope to find people who are willing to accept you exactly however you are at this moment.
4. No such thing as wasted affection. No exceptions.
5. It's okay to take chances. It's okay to fail. It's okay to go for what you want, even if what you want is to quit.
6. Sometimes things suck. Sometimes people suck. Sometimes even YOU suck. It's okay. You can get hung up, or you can grow up.
7. You are luckier than most.
8. Dreams are just a series of the smallest baby steps interspersed with difficulty and confusion and a little fulfillment.
9. To learn, you must ask.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
10. When driving, if you actually want to GET anywhere in this city, you must drive like a class-A jerk. It's acceptable to unsubscribe from common courtesy, and it's actually probably beneficial.
